1. Self-diagnosed level 1 Autistic. I have taken all of the tests on the Embrace Autism website and I have forwarded these tests to my doctors. All indicative that I have autism. Everyone already knows that so it is not new knowledge, except for ableist people apparently. I know myself more so than anyone else. Hence, I live with myself.
2. Diagnosed ADHD.
3. I am 3 months sober & very early in recovery! I have made substantial progress and I am blessed for my connections, communities, al-anon slogans, and the teachings that I have been taught. My sober date is February 22, 2025.
4. I am a rape and a sexual assault survivor. I have been silenced by those perpetuating stigma towards rape and sexual assault. I know how this feels and I do not want other's to feel the same.
5. I am highly introverted, selective, and I enjoy photography and traveling (solo, preferably). I find people get in my way.
6. My Autism tends to be very blunt and direct, and I have been mistaken for being quite rude and off putting. Maybe people need to be more honest with themselves? Integrity is a thing and will set you free!
7. I am a suicide attempt survivor. I have had previous and recent suicide attempts. I am grateful to be alive today. I still have thoughts of passive suicidality. Passive suicidality can just as easily & quickly go to active suicidality. Both are equally as concerning. Many people are uneducated when it comes to suicidality and so I talk about it because it is needed and necessary. That is a part of advocacy.
8. I blog about anything, preferably what my mood is.
9. I come from a broken household. I do not have a biological family as they are very toxic for my wellbeing. They are unsafe people. I have developed my own chosen family over the years.
10. I am in the process of wanting to create a podcast around neurodiversity and Autism Spectrum Disorder. I am still learning about my own Autism and I find the best sources are from us.
11. My preference will always be anonymous. It is within an individual's right to be anonymous on any social media platform.
12. RFK, ABA, & Autism Speaks are highly damaging and harmful to Autistic's. They have been blocked. They are ableist and discriminatory, in nature. Their content is entirely outdated.
